In the heart of London, a unique and eco-friendly apart-hotel named Stow-Away Waterloo opened its doors in 2019. This innovative development, a venture from Stow Projects and Ciel Capital, was born from a need for a concept that would fit a lease structure with a land owner.

Founded by Richard Stow and Sam Bains, Stow Projects, the mastermind behind Stow-Away Waterloo, has transformed 26 re-purposed shipping containers into studio apartments. The entire building is recyclable, making it an ideal choice for those who prioritise sustainability.

Each apartment in Stow-Away Waterloo is equipped with a super king-sized bed, fully equipped kitchenette, two chairs, a dining table, and a walk-in shower. Standard amenities include air conditioning, luxury toiletries, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The development also features 20 micro flats, a boutique wine bar - Unwined, and a pop kitchen. Unwined, located on the ground floor, offers unusual wine choices from around the world and a menu that rotates with guest chefs.

Director Charlie Fulford stated that Stow-Away Waterloo is an apart-hotel brand with a strong focus on sustainability. This commitment to the environment is evident in every aspect of the development, from its construction to its operations.

Stow-Away Waterloo's success in the Capital's hospitality market is not surprising. It has won the 'Welcoming' category at the New London Awards, a testament to its warm and inviting atmosphere.
